WHIP IT 35mm Screening! Fundraiser for the Long Island Roller Rebels! Saturday, September 9th at 7 PM Join the Long Island Roller Rebels for a special screening of Drew Barrymore's directorial debut, the 2009 roller derby cult classic, Whit It. Telling the story of a rebellious small-town Texas girl who comes of age in the bone-jarring world of women's roller derby. Elliot Page (Juno) electrifies as the undersized, underaged teen who finds herself as 'Babe Ruthless'--a pugnacious pixie on skates who discovers that her place in the world happens to be a roller rink. (USA, 2009, 111 mins, PG-13, English | Dir. Drew Barrymore)
